Jewel is a very sweet and playful six-months-old calico domestic short hair kitten. She has been spayed, wormed and received all her kitten shots, including rabies. She is available from HC Friends for Life for an adoption fee of $57. HC Friends for Life animals live in foster homes in Watauga County. Most are strays or owner turn-ins to Watauga County Animal Control. You can meet them at the Saturday Pet Fair at Lowe's Hardware in Boone from 11 am to 5 pm.
