Bowie is about 4 yrs old. He is very loving once he feels comfortable and starts to trust someone. Bowie is not good with kids, he is scared of them but there is a reason. He belonged to a family, the dad died and the mom just moved on to her next relationship, abandoning the kids and Bowie. Bowie was then living with a young man who couldn't care for himself, let alone Bowie. He was tied out, often with no food or water, and there was a little girl who lived next door, who obviously tormented him and probably more. Bowie was great with kids before that segment of his life and came back scared to death of them. I had this confirmed by the dead owner's sister. She spotted him on the website and contacted me. Bowie is very loyal, very loving, loves balls and treats and just wants to be loved. He's been through alot, so please don't think he is just mean or bad, there is a reason for his fear. If you want a faithful, loyal, handsome and loving companion and you don't have kids around, Bowie would be a wonderful dog for you. If you have any questions, please contact me.
