Soulful eyes, that's what I think everytime Layla looks at me. Layla is approx 2 years old and has already had enough bad things happen to her for a lifetime. She has been abused, abandoned, starved, shot, hung and gave birth to 11 puppies. Guess that's enough to give anyone soulful eyes. She is truly starved for attention and becomes very attached to anyone that shows her love. She came into foster care shy and scared, everytime I moved suddenly or raised my voice she would cower in the corner. She has made wonderful progress and is becoming confident and loving. She is doing good with housetraining and is learning not to raid the trash or pull food off the counter. She is crate trained and leash trained.Layla's adoption fee is $125.00 part of which will cover her spay prior to going into her new home. To adopt this animal or one of his/her orphaned friends, just fill out our online application.Please note, we do not ship animals for any reason. All adopters must travel to Marion, North Carolina to pick up their animals.
