Jimmy is a 1-year-old Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever mix who, like Christopher, is the lone survivor of his litter. Unlike his best friend, however, Jimmy pulled through the fight of his life with no adverse affects. Jimmy is probably one big reason Christopher has grown strong, despite a serious heart murmur. To watch the two constant companions go through their paces, racing and chasing each other through the yard, tumbling and jumping, one would never guess that Christopher has a disability. Jimmy knows when to be a roughneck and when to be a gentle leader. He is a perceptive and intuitive companion and caretaker. Jimmy and Christopher must be placed together. Jimmy has had many offers for new homes, but it is feared that the loss of Jimmie's companionship would have serious consequences for Christopher. Jimmy is up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative.
