Attention Collectors!!!Circa early 1950's Kodak Retina Ia 35mm camera. Has Schneider -Kreuznach Xenar 50mm f:3.5 Lens....Syncro-Compur Rapid Shutter.....Rapid winding lever...one barn door to expose & shut to protect lens....Leather wrapped camera...Extremely compact...Made in Germany...This model goes from $93-$175 on ebay depending on condition...Condition: 95%...no brassing, optics clear and bright....camera is working and functional!!!! The Retina Ia was a folding camera for 35mm film made by the German Kodak AG. It was introduced in January 1951 as new version of the Retina I. It's new feature was the rapid winding lever. The cameras of the Retina I series had an optical viewfinder but no rangefinder. From January to May of 1951, the camera was fitted with a COMPUR-RAPID shutter.
Typ 015 Retina Ia January to May 1951:

Retina-Xenar f:3,5/50mm / COMPUR-RAPID
Retina-Xenar f:2,8/50mm / COMPUR-RAPID
Kodak Ektar f:3.5 50mm. / COMPUR-RAPID
In June 1951, this was changed to a SYNCHRO-COMPUR shutter with M-X flash synch as shown in the image above.

A film glide roller on the back door was also added in June of 1951. The Retina Ia was replaced by the Typ 018 Retina Ib in late March/ early April 1954.
